01

Why it was needed

As the first Business Beats Cancer event held in Aberdeen, the evening marked the beginning of a new initiative bringing local businesses together to support Cancer Research UK.

The organisers needed a video that captured the energy of the launch while clearly communicating its purpose. It also had to show the strength of the local response and create an asset that could help build recognition, participation and momentum for future events.

02

What we did

Identified the key moments, contributors and messages needed to introduce Business Beats Cancer to an Aberdeen audience.

01

Filmed the guests, entertainment, speeches and atmosphere throughout the evening, including the contributions of host Grado.

02

Used interviews and reactions to explain why businesses had come together and what their support meant to Cancer Research UK.

03

Combined the interviews, key moments and atmosphere into a focused video that introduced the event and demonstrated the potential of the initiative in Aberdeen.
