Why it was needed
Clan Cancer Support wanted to capture the energy of its annual ball while keeping the charity and its work at the heart of the story.
The circus theme created a visually striking evening featuring dancers, fire breathers and live entertainment. The video needed to capture that spectacle, but also use interviews to explain the purpose of the event and the importance of the support behind it.

What we did
Identified the key performances, interviews and moments required to tell the story of the evening from arrival through to the main entertainment.

Filmed the circus-inspired setting, fire breathers, dancers, guests and details that gave the event its distinctive character.

Recorded interviews with people connected to the event, giving the highlights context and keeping Clan Cancer Support’s work central to the story.

Combined the interviews, performances and guest reactions into an engaging account of the evening that could continue working after the event had finished.

The outcome
