01

Why it was needed

MacBeans recognised that many customers were interested in fresh coffee and loose-leaf tea but felt unsure about choosing the right products or preparing them properly at home.

Instant coffee often felt like the easier option. The series needed to remove that uncertainty, make traditional brewing feel approachable and give people the confidence to try something better without making the process feel complicated.

02

What we did

After identifying the barrier, we focused the series on the hesitation customers experienced when moving from instant products to freshly roasted coffee or loose-leaf tea.

01

We planned tutorials around a cafetière, an AeroPress and loose-leaf tea, selecting methods that people could easily understand and recreate at home.

02

The fourth video demonstrated loose-leaf tea using a duck-shaped tea strainer, bringing a more playful finish to the series while keeping the content useful.

03

Each video broke the process into clear, practical steps, showing that making a better brew does not require specialist knowledge or an intimidating collection of equipment.

The outcome

Following the release of the series, MacBeans reported an average 40% increase in website visitors. Customers also came into the shop and mentioned seeing the videos, with some saying they had rediscovered the business and others learning about the shop for the first time.

The results demonstrated how useful, educational content could increase online visibility, create real-world recognition and encourage more people to visit and support an independent local coffee roaster.
