This project marked Farsight’s first-ever video. A bold, self-initiated spec ad created to showcase our cinematic approach to brand promotion. With no client brief, we saw an opportunity to create a piece that reflected the spirit and style of a brand we admired, while demonstrating what makes Farsight stand out: strong visuals, sharp editing, and story-led production that turns heads.

Goals & Objectives
Our objective was simple but strategic: to produce a high-impact advert that could be used to attract future clients by showing the calibre of content we bring to the table. We wanted to:

  • Capture the bold identity and edge associated with Jack Daniels
  • Craft a stylised, mood-driven video with cinematic flair
  • Demonstrate our ability to deliver narrative, branding, and visual storytelling without relying on client direction

Results
This spec ad became a signature statement for Farsight. It kickstarted our portfolio and sparked early interest from businesses drawn to our visual style and production quality. More importantly, it proved our commitment to putting story and style at the forefront of everything we produce. The video continues to act as a powerful example of how we help brands feel seen, heard, and remembered, even before we had a client roster.
